AFFORDABLE MANAGEMENT TRAINING WITH AFRICAN MANAGEMENT INITIATIVE, APRIL 8TH

African Management Initiative (AMI) is hosting its next learning lab on April 8th 2014. The training will be held at the iHub, Bishop Magua Centre, 4th floor from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, run by experienced facilitators from the African Management Initiative, with video content from South Africa's Gordon Institute of Business Science, a highly ranked business school. The training entitled, “Success@work in 21st Century Africa”, will be the final offering of this particular training by the AMI at the iHub. One needs not have previous management experience to attend. Its main purpose is to help managers and entrepreneurs become more effective in their work, covering topics like

  • Communication

  • Time management

  • Setting goals

  • Listening and influencing others

Learning takes place by a combination of short online videos, which are explained by the facilitators, and the use of group work. At the end of each group session there are short quizzes that make sure you have put into practice what you just learned.
