The user experience lab has been in existence for over a year now. Over this time, we have done several activities and events to raise the level of awareness and practice of user experience methods. These include master classes and workshops by renown figures in the UX world like Susan Dray during the first User Experience Month in Africa (Tajriba).
Throughout this process, we have continued to collect feedback from participants because this is very important to us. Also important to us are people who wanted to, but couldn’t attend our events, trainings and workshops. We seek to understand and accommodate the community.
One of the new ways we have developed to reach you is by spreading UX training into several topical and practical skills. This way, it only requires 1.5 hours a week of your time, ensuring you too can join us.
WHY TAKE USER EXPERIENCE TRAINING?This is an opportunity to learn skills that help improve your product design process and ensure what you do is firmly founded and focused on your users. It will help you learn techniques for engaging your users and how to then take this intelligence and use it for making your product design and development better.
These sessions take a practical applied service learning approach. Meaning we learn these skills while applying them to an actual product.
