Participants will learn about the human centered design process as it's taught at Stanford -- by doing it themselves.
Following the crash course, we're hosting Google Head of Personalization and serial entrepreneurMax Ventilla. Max will share his experience applying human centered design to his startup Aardvark, a social search engine acquired by Google in 2010. He has also utilized the design process in his recent work at Google as one of the founding product managers on Google+ and in his current role as the product lead for cross-Google personalization. In addition, Max is a strong advocate for user research and rapid prototyping in his work with startups as an angel investor and advisor.
